Lent is a sacred season of reflection, prayer, and renewal. At St. Rita, we invite you to deepen your faith through our Lenten activities, including Eucharistic Adoration, Stations of the Cross, scripture studies, service opportunities, and more.

Eucharistic Adoration
• Every Friday during Lent (March 5 through April 17) from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm in the Eucharistic Chapel inside the Church. Sign up is not required but would help us make sure that the Blessed Sacrament is not left unattended! CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP. Take one slot on a specific date or commit to multiple weeks!
• Every Wednesday evening from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm in Eucharistic Chapel in the Church.
• Every Thursday evening (except April 10) immediately following 5:30 pm Mass until 7:00 pm.
• On the 2nd Tuesday of each month, Adoration is extended until 8:00 pm.Stations of the Cross
• Pray the Stations of the Cross along with our Parish community each Friday evening in the Church. Stations in English start immediately following the 5:30 pm Mass (approx. 6:15 pm). Stations in Spanish begin at 7:30 pm after the Lenten Supper, in the Church.
• Pray the Stations of the Cross on your own anytime! Stations can be found posted on columns along the plaza. Station #1 can be found near the entrance to the Parish Office.

• Morning prayer at 7:30 am, Monday - Friday
• Evening prayer at 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday
The Rosary
• Immediately following each daily Mass
• On Thursday, March 27, at 8:00 am in the Church

• Monday through Friday: 6:25 am and 5:30 pm
• Saturday: 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Vigil
• Sunday: 7:30 am, 9:00 am, 10:45 am, 12:45 (bilingual) and 5:00 pmFriday Lenten Suppers
Come together as a parish family this Lent for our Friday Lenten Suppers, a time of fellowship, reflection, and a simple meal. Join us each Friday during Lent after the Stations of the Cross for a delicious meal and community gathering.
Dates: March 7, 14, 21, 28 • April 4, 11
Time: Dinner begins at approximately 6:45 PM
Cost: Free (donations accepted on site)

Our parish and school are teaming up for a Family Service Project this Lent! We’ll start with 5:30 pm Mass, free dinner in the Parish Dining Hall at 6:00 pm, and then head to Sweeney Hall at 7:00 pm to start our family service projects. Bring the entire family! All ages of children are welcome.
We have been collecting supplies for snack bags to support Catholic Charities. Join us to decorate and assemble these bags!
Instill a spirit of service and have fun with your friends at our annual Family Service Night!

This Lent, join St. Rita Catholic Community in supporting the Collection for the Church in Central and Eastern Europe. This vital initiative aids Catholics facing hardship in countries recovering from decades of communist oppression and, more recently, the devastation of war. Your generosity helps provide shelter, food, and spiritual support, particularly to those impacted by the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.

Rice Bowl Program
Help communities around the world affected by hunger and poverty.
On Ash Wednesday and throughout Lent, we are called to repentance and deeper communion with God and neighbor through prayer, fasting and almsgiving.
In a special way, Lenten almsgiving enables us to grow in generosity, actively participate in the body of Christ and respond to God’s call to love and care for others.

Baby Banks
Support moms and babies this Lent by participating in our Baby Bank campaign. Pick up a Baby Bank from the Lenten Resource table in the Narthex and fill it with donations, or contribute online HERE.
Your generosity will help fund the life-saving and life-changing work of the Catholic Pro-Life Community of the Diocese of Dallas.
Sock Collection for Low Birth Weight Development Center
This Lent, join our parish-wide effort to provide new socks for the Low Birth Weight Development Center, serving the Missionaries of Charity. Help us bring warmth and comfort to those in need by donating infant through women's sizes. Collection boxes will be available in the Church Narthex from March 5 through April 6.
