Food Preparation & Setup/Cleanup

Wise theologians have said that it is not so much that the Church has a mission, but that the mission has a Church.  One phase of our mission is initiating new souls into the Body of Christ through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.) - a task of our whole parish community, each member contributing in various ways to the effort.  

One essential aspect of our program is our hospitality as realized in a shared meal every Wednesday night.  We need your help in assuring this is accomplished!  We've been getting this down to a pretty simple science, but here are some of the details: 

• Cost. The parish covers the cost of the food and supplies.  
• Know-How. We provide recipes so you know how much to prepare. 
• Tasks. Volunteers can choose one or more items to cook and/or setup/cleanup tasks. 
• Availability.  You can sign up for just one evening, or multiple.   
• Pitch Your Ministry.  Ministries and organizations get time at the beginning of the session they've selected to share information with the candidates and sponsors.
