Why Daily Prayer?
Our hope is to restore and renew the ancient practice of public daily prayer in our community. Since the beginning, Christians have gathered every day to pray at the beginning and end of the day. The Church, in Vatican II, expressed the desire that this practice be reborn in parishes and other communities. Thus, at St. Rita, we strive to be a community of daily and even constant prayer.
How Do I Participate?
You can participate anytime you're free! Whether you pray the Liturgy of Hours daily already or never have, please join us. Whether you can come every day or only occasionally, please join us. Join us for daily prayer in the Eucharistic Chapel, Monday through Friday, as we celebrate the Liturgy of the Hours. Morning Prayer is at 7:30am and Evening Prayer is at 5:00pm. Likewise, we pray the Rosary every morning at 7:00am. Also, we offer Eucharistic Adoration Thursday evenings at 6:00pm and Fridays from 9:00-5:00pm.
